Burglary Dwelling In the few days prior to Thursday 20 November in Bakewell Lane, Hucknall, the locking mechanism on a back door was bent out of shape, with evidence of tool marks and scratching, in an attempt to gain entry. At some time before 11.31am on Sunday 23 November in Salterford Road, Hucknall, a house under renovation was entered using a key. Considerable damage was caused to appliances, fixtures and carpets. Burglary Other On Saturday 22 November at 6.53pm and again on Sunday 23 November at 3.20pm, a construction site on Belle Isle Road, Hucknall, was entered and extensive damage was done. Holes were smashed in walls and copper piping and wiring were torn out. In addition 12 fire extinguishers were let off. Theft of motor vehicle Between 9.00am on Friday 21 and 1.00pm on Saturday 22 November in Laughton Crescent, Hucknall, a blue Ford Focus Titanium car was stolen. It is possible that the owner dropped the keys in the street. Between 10.00pm on Sunday 23 and 6.00am on Monday 24 November in Brookfield Avenue, Hucknall, a white Peugeot Partner van was stolen. Theft from motor vehicle Between 10.00pm on Sunday 23 and 8.00am on Monday 24 November in Hawthorne Avenue, Hucknall, a vehicle was entered through an unlocked door and a wristwatch, perfumes and a wallet containing bank cards and a driving licence were stolen. Theft Nothing to Report Criminal Damage Between 6.30pm on Friday 21 and 11.30am on Sunday 23 November at Edgewood Primary and Nursery School, Edgeware Drive, Hucknall, a glass pane in a fire door was smashed. Between 8.00pm on Tuesday 25 and 9.00am on Wednesday 26 November in Hayden Lane, Hucknall, the front passenger side window of a black Audi E-tron was smashed. ASB Between 4.00pm on Thursday 20 and 7.00am on Friday 21 November in Robin Hood Drive, Hucknall, a white Peugeot Partner van, parked at the side of a property, was ‘egged’. At 4.47pm on Saturday 22 November on the Hucknall Market Place a report of a group of around six 14/16 year old youths, wearing dark clothing and masks, throwing fireworks at people and cars and then running off into the church yard. At 6.29pm on Saturday 22 November in Orchard Street, Hucknall, a report of a group of approximately 10 teenagers letting off fireworks, one flew under the callers car. They moved off towards Watnall Road. At 7.15pm on Saturday 22 November in Rockwood Crescent, Hucknall, three youths climbed over a wall and walked up the garden and kicked the house door. At 8.31pm on Saturday 22 November at the Hucknall Leisure Center, Linby Road, Hucknall, five or six males, dressed in black clothing and wearing masks, were throwing plastic bottles at the front doors and windows. They had been moved off from the roof earlier by the ADC wardens. At 2.39pm on Sunday 23 November at the Tesco Extra Store, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, eight 14/16 year old white males, wearing black tops, black trousers and grey hoodies were running through the store and warehouse area throwing stock around. A similar incident occurred at 7.10pm on Tuesday 25 November. At 5.48pm on Sunday 23 November at McDonald’s Restaurant, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, a large group of youths were being a nuisance, running around, vaping inside, and harassing customers. At 7.09pm on Sunday 23 November in Cavendish Close, Hucknall, two 12/15 year old white males, one dressed in black the second in grey and riding an orange scooter, were throwing eggs at properties. Around 8.50pm on Sunday 23 November in Christchurch Road, Hucknall a footprint was left on a door where it was kicked. At 7.53pm on Monday 24 November at the Ashgate Retail Park, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, a report of a group of males and females, aged 14/16 years, throwing stones at vehicles in the Home Bargains car park At 6.46pm on Tuesday 25 November in Titchfield Street, Hucknall, a group of around six youngsters, dressed in black and wearing balaclavas, booted a front door and walked off towards Poundland on the High Street. At 6.53pm on Tuesday 25 November on High Street, Hucknall, a group of around 12 youths, who stole items from Greggs, were now throwing things around on the High Street.
